Abbiamo dato un colpo di reni importante, dimostrato che l’Italia può rialzare la tesa. Altro che aiuti di Stato, altro che operazione che non sta in piedi. Molti soloni dovranno ricredersi perchè l’ingresso di Poste in Alitalia è legato a un precisio piano industriale, a robuste sinergie, a una discontinuità con il passato.

I “SOLDI DEGLI ITALIANI”
Assurdo pensare che sono a rischio i risparmi postali degli italiani. Le Poste sono un’azienda sana, che fa utili, ha un proprio patrimonio, manager efficienti che hanno risanato l’azienda. E che adesso potranno dare un contributo fattivo al nuovo posizionamento di Alitalia.
L’AZIONE DEL GOVERNO
Ricostruiamo il fatti: da 10 giorni il governo era investito da questa vicenda che riguarda un asset strategico del Paese. Con coraggio abbiamo individuato una soluzione che non comporta aiuti di Stato e prevede un’alleanza internazionale che ora potrà essere contrattata alla pari. Le Poste hanno caratteristiche precise, costituiscono un valore aggiunto per Alitalia e ci consentono di preservare un asset strategico. Tutti, soci privati, banche e Poste ora dovranno fare la loro parte.
L’alternativa? Sarebbe stato il commissariamento, un vero disastro in termini occupazionali. E il ricorso alla legge Marzano avrebbe potuto configurare l’ipotesi di aiuti di Stato che l’Europa non vuole.
Il mondo del trasporto aereo è cambiato in 5 anni. Sono arrivati sulla scena nuovi soggetti, il prezzo del greggio è andato alle stelle, la crisi ha fortemente ridimensionato il settore. Noi come governo avevamo l’obbligo di mettere Alitalia in condizione di trattare da pari con l’azionista Air France, di essere cioè un interlocutore forte, con un azionariato pronto a fare la propria parte.
FERROVIE DELLO STATO
L’ipotesi dell’ingresso di Ferrovie dello Stato era sul tavolo ma abbiamo ritenuto che Ferrovie dovesse privilegiare lo sviluppo del trasporto regionale che ancora non è completato.
AIR FRANCE
Se partecipa all’aumento di capitale conservando il suo 25% continuerà ad essere l’interlocutore privilegiato. Se invece deciderà di diluirsi, scendendo all’11%, allora ogni strada sarà aperta.
