Dopo la presentazione della squadra di Governo, Enrico Letta ha lasciato la parola al Presidente della Repubblica Giorgio Napolitano che ha detto queste parole
Ecco le parole del discorso del Presidente della Repubblica Giorgio Napolitano:
“Innanzitutto non c’è bisogno di alcuna formula speciale per definire la natura di questo governo.
- È un governo politico formato nella cornice istituzionale e secondo la prassi della nostra democrazia parlamentare.
- È un governo nato dall’intesa delle forze politiche che insieme garantiranno la fiducia nelle due Camere come prescrive la nostra Costituzione.
- Era ed è l’unico governo possibile in un momento in cui non si poteva più aspettare oltre per le sorti del nostro Paese.
- Ed infine è il frutto di uno sforzo paziente e tenace del Presidente incaricato e dei leader delle forze politiche che hanno scelto la strada della collaborazione nonostante tutte le difficoltà incontrate e prevedibili, e nonostante il supplemento di volontà, di seria collaborazione che era indispensabile da tutte le parti.
Le caratteristiche di novità, di freschezza, di competenza che questo governo offre vi sono state già rappresentate dall’Onorevole Letta. Voglio ringraziarlo vivamente, perché è stato il Presidente incaricato l’artefice della nascita di questo governo, e ho assecondato il suo tentativo, il suo impegno, dopo averne dato le motivazioni nel mio discorso dinanzi alle Camere riunite lunedì scorso.
Concludo con un auspicio che è anche una certezza, non soltanto un atto di fiducia: l’auspicio che questo governo si metta a lavorare rapidamente in spirito di fervida coesione. Credo che tutte le persone chiamate a farne parte diano a noi tutti la garanzia di voler lavorare insieme, senza conflittualità pregiudiziali e con il massimo impegno a trovare le soluzioni giuste ai problemi, rispondenti all’interesse generale. A ciascuno spetterà dare il contributo dal proprio punto di vista, ma – ripeto – in uno spirito di assoluta indispensabile coesione e reciproco rispetto.
Grazie, buon lavoro a tutti, e buon lavoro soprattutto al Presidente del Consiglio, Onorevole Enrico Letta.
