Quasi 65.000 detenuti in strutture che possono ospitarne al massimo 47.000, sono numeri che parlano di indifferenza verso la dignità degli uomini e delle donne detenuti in condizioni umanamente intollerabili.

Ne va delle civiltà del nostro paese. Di fronte a situazioni drammatiche ed emergenziali si giustificano soluzioni straordinarie come l’amnistia e l’indulto. Ridurre il numero dei detenuti e contenere i tempi della custodia cautelare è un atto di umanità e di giustizia, due valori inseparabili e che è difficile riconoscere nella situazione di sovraffollamento delle nostre carceri.
Visto che è così attuale vi invito a leggere l’editoriale di Avvenire che ho firmato con Enrico Letta il 21 gennaio 2012 “Un lavoro per i carcerati, a tutti una seconda chance“.

“…Sono circa 10 milioni i detenuti nel mondo, in gran parte già condannati. Il tasso di detenzione per 100.000 abitanti è pari a 112,6 in Italia, a 127,7 in Europa, a 156 nel mondo.
Al 31 dicembre 2011 erano detenute nelle carceri italiane 66.897 persone …… Il numero di detenuti presenti è di gran lunga superiore alla capienza regolamentare, fissata a 45.700 posti.
La maggior parte dei detenuti entrati nelle carceri nel 2011 (76.982) è in attesa di giudizio, mentre soltanto il 10% circa ha una condanna definitiva….”

Ho letto in un giornale che su 65.000 detenuti gli stranieri sono 22.770, ecco un indizio dell’emergenza carceraria dal quale si possono fare delle deduzioni;molti stranieri vengono in Italia per delinquere ,non vanno in altri Stati Ue perchè questi ultimi sono più seri e attenti a fare osservare le proprie leggi,mantenere l’ordine pubblico,dare sicurezza ai propri cittadini;questo è secondo me amare i cittadini e la propria Nazione.Altro che eliminare il reato di clandestinità tanto invocato dalla ministra dell’integrazione e da alcuni partiti di sinistra.Gli stranieri in Italia troppo a proprio agio non ospiti in casa altrui.Oggi in Italia molta confusione anche mentale;non si capisce niente.Comodo farsi mantenere con vitto e alloggio gratis tanto a pagare sono i soliti ;questo modo di operare non mi convince.
Non è importante il colore della pelle o la razza di chi viola le leggi, sappiamo che in generale sono le persone più fragili della comunità. Il problema è prevenire il crimine, sradicando il bullismo nelle scuole e nei gruppi giovanili, assicurando un lavoro onesto ai giovani e recuperando fin da subito chi non rispetta le leggi, per evitare che si passi dai piccoli crimini a quelli più odiosi, che poi sono più difficili da recuperare e per i quali la repressione può comunque poco.

La mancanza di 18/20.000 posti per contenere il numero di delinquenti che superano la capienza delle carceri la si affronta creando e costruendo o meglio recuperando strutture esistenti(vedi es.caserme abbandonate)ma non liberando criminali.
No! Il problema è rappresentato dalla lungaggine del sistema giudiziario italiano e dalla lentezza dei giudici che sono impegnati anche in attività si super consulenza!
Davvero? Beh, la maggioranza degli italini NO!!? volete tenerne conto o continuare a fare ciò che vi pare? L’emergenza carceri non è nata ieri e Napolitano evidentemente si è svegliato tardi. Indulto e Amnistia non sono ne mai saranno la soluzione e lo sapete.Riaprite le carceri chiuse e abbandonate o vendete e ricostruitele, utilizzate le caserme chiuse questa è l’unica soluzione efficace. Che tutti i parlamentari siano di questo avviso è vergognoso! Con tanti saggi e laureati inaccettabile che tutti optino per una NON-soluzione. Non siete all’asilo siete adulti al parlamento mi pare infantile ognio volta che parla Napolitano dargli ragione per evitare di esporsi! Indulto e amnistia a questo punto sarebbero davvero diseducativi! L’Italia ha solo governi dai “rimediucoli” temporanei e dell’ultimo minuto da 40 anni, mai niente di fatto tutto un fare e un disfare e non si costruisce nulla di durevole. Questo perchè perdete gli annia parlare di “cazzate” prime in file le panzane del cavaliere e a pensare alle vs. sedie.Stendiamo un velo pietoso sulle risposte che Napolitano ha dato al M5S … ma chi crede di essere? Sono stati votati da un abuona parte degli italiani: NON sono OSPITI in parlamento! proprio super partes !!
