Summer School Sorrento con 500 giovani per la Politica
Con 500 giovani davanti a te è impossibile non mettersi in discussione, è impossibile non giocarsi fino in fondo. Vi racconto la pima giornata di lavori della Summer School di Sorrento
Una cornice meravigliosa per un’attività a cui io e tutti gli amici e colleghi promotori teniamo moltissimo: la convivenza e la formazione con i giovani che si appassionano alla politica. Sono contento che anche nel 2011 la Fondazione Costruiamo il Futuro di cui sono presidente abbia promosso questa splendida attività. 500 giovani provenienti da tutta Italia e che si sono riuniti a Sorrento per la Summer School 2012, un’esperienza di convivenza e formazione.
Il programma è fitto e venerdì hanno aperto i lavori sul titolo “Testimoni, non istruzioni per l’uso” Mario Mauro e Marianne Malak, membro del Parlamento egiziano e Davide Rondoni, poeta e scrittore (da S. Tommaso Moro al Bundestag).
Davide Rondoni ci ha provocato con queste parole “c’è bisogno di monaci e rivoluzionari animati da un ideale. La vera politica è appartenere a un popolo che fa”.
Mentre Marianne Malak ha raccontato la situazione egiziana e ha affermato “noi abbiamo a cuore la nostra fede e i nostri ideali. In Egitto noi giovani difenderemo i nostri diritti di cristiani davanti alla maggioranza islamica anche a costo della nostra vita. Noi vogliamo uno Stato veramente laico”.
